Delete your Ani-Q account
In the app (fastest)
- Open Ani-Q and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Privacy and your data.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account is deleted at once and you are signed out. Before deleting, you can tap Download my data to keep a copy.
Without the app
Email us and include the mobile number registered on your account:
We will call that number to confirm it is you, then delete the account within 7 days and confirm by message.
What is deleted
- Your name, mobile number and sign-in
- The names, addresses, directions and on-site contacts of your farms and homes (their positions are reduced to about 1 km)
- All health records, and your animals' names, tags, microchip numbers, falcon ring, passport and CITES numbers, insemination details and notes
- Your farms' holding registration numbers and your disease-report notes
- Open planned visits are cancelled; your notes and comments on past visits are removed
- Push tokens and stored positions
- Lost-pet reports are closed and their photos and descriptions deleted; photos you sent with community reports are deleted
- For vets and drivers: your profile is closed and your licence or vehicle documents are deleted from storage within 30 days
What is kept, and why
- Past emergency and transport records (including photos and voice notes sent with an emergency), kept without your name or number for 5 years, because they are veterinary and transport records that may be needed for legal or safety reasons. Farm positions in these records are reduced to about 1 km.
- For licensed companies (transport): the company name and trade licence number linked to past jobs.
- A record that you asked for deletion, and the security log.
You cannot delete your account while you have an emergency or truck request open, or while you are on a case or job. Close it first, or contact us.
