Terms of Use
Pilot version. Ani-Q is being tested with a small group of users; this document will be reviewed and updated before public launch.
In short. Ani-Q is a platform that connects you with independent licensed vets and transport providers. We do not give veterinary advice and we cannot promise that someone is always available. If a person is in danger, call 999.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Ibrahim Al Dubaili, an individual based in the United Arab Emirates ("Ani-Q", "we"). By creating an account and accepting them in the app you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your data.
2. What Ani-Q does
- Ani-Q helps animal owners find an available licensed vet in an emergency, book a planned (non-emergency) vet visit, request livestock transport, keep animal records, and report lost pets or animals in need.
- Planned visits: Ani-Q passes your request to suitable vets and partner clinics near you. The first to accept with a time in your window, or whose proposed time you accept, takes the visit. The visit itself, its time changes and any fee are between you and the vet or clinic.
- Records are your own. Numbers you keep in Ani-Q, such as falcon passport, CITES and holding registration numbers, are your copy only. Ani-Q is not an official register and its PDFs are not official certificates. Passports, permits and registrations are issued only by the authorities (for example MOCCAE). Links to government services open the authority's own website; Ani-Q does not submit anything on your behalf.
- Ani-Q is not a veterinary practice. Vets on Ani-Q are independent professionals or work for partner clinics. They are responsible for their own diagnosis, treatment, advice and fees.
- Transport providers are independent. They are responsible for their vehicles, permits, safe handling of animals and compliance with animal-transport rules.
- Ani-Q does not diagnose animals, recommend medicines, or guarantee a result.
- During the pilot, Ani-Q does not handle payments. You agree fees directly with the vet or provider and pay them directly.
3. Availability
We work to find help quickly, but we cannot guarantee that a vet, clinic or truck will be available, will accept, or will arrive by a particular time. The app tells you honestly when nobody has accepted yet. A planned visit that nobody confirms in time expires, and the app tells you. Keep your own vet's number and, for serious situations, contact a clinic directly as well. The service depends on mobile networks, GPS and third-party services that may fail.
4. Your account
- You must be 18 or over and use your own UAE mobile number.
- Give true information, especially locations, animal details and, for vets and drivers, licences and documents.
- Keep your phone and sign-in codes secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- If you add an on-site contact, you confirm that person agreed to be contacted.
5. Rules for everyone
You must not: send false emergencies or reports; harass vets, drivers, owners or staff; upload unlawful or offensive content; misuse other people's data; try to get around security or access data that is not yours; or use Ani-Q for anything unlawful, including cruelty to animals or illegal trade in animals.
6. Extra terms for vets
- You must hold a valid UAE veterinary licence for the services you provide, and keep it current in the app. We check licences before you receive emergencies and may suspend you if a licence expires or cannot be verified.
- Accept only cases you can attend. If you accept, go promptly and keep the owner informed in the app.
- Accept or propose a planned visit only for a time you can keep. If you need to change or cancel it, do so in the app as early as possible.
- Keep owner information confidential and use it only for the case.
- You are responsible for your professional conduct, insurance, records and fees under UAE rules.
- While you are available, or on the way to a case or a planned visit, your position is shared as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Extra terms for transport providers
- You must hold the licences, permits and vehicle registration required to carry animals for others, and keep your documents current in the app.
- Accept only jobs your vehicle and crew can carry out safely and humanely.
- During a job your position is shared with the owner and with Ani-Q.
- You are responsible for the animals while they are in your care, and for your own insurance.
8. Content you send
You keep ownership of photos, voice notes and text you send. You allow Ani-Q to store and show them to the people who need them for your request (and, for lost-pet and community reports, to the public map), for as long as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Ani-Q and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete my account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts animals or people at risk, or is required to be closed by law. Where reasonable we will tell you why.
10. Liability
To the extent UAE law allows: Ani-Q is provided "as is"; we are not responsible for the acts, advice, treatment, transport or fees of vets, clinics or transport providers; and we are not liable for indirect loss, or for loss caused by unavailability of networks, GPS or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The app shows the new version and asks you to accept it before you continue. If you do not accept, you can delete your account.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes go to the courts of Dubai, after a good-faith attempt to resolve them with us at support@ani-q.ae.
13. Language
These terms are published in Arabic and English. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
